After over ten years on the scene in our hometown Cork City, things have heated up over the last two years for us and a major transition from pirate radio & free parties to nightclubs & various bookings, national & beyond, has occured. Playing out so much has been great, but it leaves a gap in what we can play, as we pump out some serious bigroom music in clubs, theres lots of great music we never get to play......enter LO-TECH.... This Leading international female dj commands the decks as "Miss Motif" with her captivating stage presence and energetic performances.Her djing style is so versatile and unique.She can adapt and change from house and electro to techno in any set with one common factor -big basslines that rock every venue! "
Miss Motif's first recorded track was with Italian producers " Vespa Bros".Their track "Freedom" reached number 7 in The Italian Dance charts. She recorded vocals for her second track called "Up & Down" with the same collaborators but under the new name of Scent.Signed to EMI's Positiva record label. It reached a top 20 position in the U.K charts as well as number 1 in both the buzz chart and the cool cuts charts. Miss Motif was a resident on the Heineken F@T world tour with djs Tiesto,Oakie and Pete Tong as a dj and vocalist.
Miss Motif now regularly plays around Europe & beyond, as well as regular appearences at Inferno & other nights in Ireland.
